Morgan Hill Unified is proud to offer our students the opportunity to develop bilingual skills in English and Spanish. Dual Language Immersion (sometimes known as Two Way Bilingual Immersion) is a program using an instructional approach that integrates native English speakers and native speakers of other languages and provides instruction to both groups of students in both languages.
The District’s Dual Language Immersion program is offered at San Martin Gwinn and is serving grades K-3 in the 2014-15 school year adding a class each year. Families who enroll their children in this program make a multiyear commitment to the program to ensure that students attain high levels of academic proficiency and literacy in two languages by the time they are promoted to middle school.
